How to update Ensim Webppliance

In order to apply a Webppliance update to your system you need to apply
*all* previous updates first. E.g. if you are running version 3.1.4
and want to update to version 3.1.7, you need to apply the 3.1.5 and
3.1.6 updates first.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
If your kernel version is 2.4.20 or 2.4.20-ac2, please do not try
to install any of the updates - it will not work! Instead have your
support reinstall your server with the current system (be sure to
have a backup of your data beforehand because the hard disk will be
reformatted).

To update to version 3.1.3, download the file 'ensim-3.1.3.sh' to your
server and execute it.

To update to a later version than 3.1.3, download the corresponding
'LS-3.1.x.tar.gz' files, unpack them (tar xzvf LS-3.1.x.tar.gz) and
follow the instructions in the README files.

To check which version of Ensim Webppliance your system is running,
type 'cat /usr/lib/opcenter/VERSION' at the command line prompt.

To check which kernel version you have, type 'uname -r' at the
command line prompt.
