Navigating Through

To access the major administrative functions, use the following shortcuts in the navigation pane (the left side of the screen):

  1. Clients: manage user accounts, view usage statistics and reports (you are currently on this screen).
  2. Domains: manage domain names, hosting services, and web sites.
  3. Server: manage miscellaneous server and control panel preferences.
  4. Modules: extend the capabilities of your Plesk control panel by installing additional modules.
  5. Master: (available if provided by your product license) monitor status of other Plesk managed servers from your control panel. For managing a large number of Plesk servers, you should rather use the Plesk Expand software.
  6. Sessions: manage user sessions.
  7. Log Out: end your administration session.
  8. Help Desk: handle support requests submitted by your customers.
  9. Help: view a help topic for the page you are currently on.
As you navigate through the system, a chain of links (pathbar) appears in the upper right part of the screen. These links reflect your current 'location' within . By clicking on the links, you can be one or more (depending on your 'location') levels up.

To return to a previous screen, use the Up Level button located at the upper right corner of the screen.

Managing User Accounts

Before you start serving your customers, consider creating the client templates in accordance with the hosting plans you offer. The templates include resource usage limits, hosting features, and permissions to use Plesk control panel for managing customers' domains. To work with templates, click Client Templates.

To add a user account to the system, click Add New Client Account. The wizard will guide you through the procedure. Upon completion, a new entry will be added to the list of client accounts located in the lower part of the screen, where each item represents a single account and is accompanied by the following status icons:

The left icon tells whether the client account is operating within the allotted resource usage limits:
means that the client's account is operating within defined disk space and traffic limits.
means that the client has exceeded allocated disk space or traffic limitations in at least one of the client's domains. The Plesk system evaluates disk space and traffic every 24 hours.
The middle icon tells whether the system administrator has blocked this client account:
means that the client account is not blocked.
means that this client account is presently blocked. When a client account is blocked, all of the client's domains are turned off and are inaccessible through the Internet.
The right icon tells if the client is allowed to log in to the control panel:
means that the client is allowed to login to the control panel.
means that the client is not allowed to login to the control panel.

You can sort the entries in the list by clicking the respective column heading. To search within user accounts, type a desired combination of symbols in the input box and click Search.

To manage an account, click on a client's name.

To change the resource usage limits and permissions for multiple client accounts at once, select the respective checkboxes and click Group Operations.

To delete one or several client accounts from the system, select the respective check boxes and click Remove Selected.

To view traffic usage statistics, click Traffic.

To use the services offered by My.Plesk.com online store, such as domain registration or purchasing SSL certificates, click Extras.
